House Sweet Home

House or Home, abitazione or casa , maison or chez nous…Two terms that only seemingly delineate the same “object”. Each term represents a different moment in the appropriation of the space, from the projection to the construction. “To reflect on the domestic space, to design a house containing an idea of home” was the curatorial theme of the exhibition, organized during Milan’s Salone del Mobile. House sweet Home grouped together 45 projects displaying various interpretations of the concept of the domenstic space. The objects in exhibition are hung at various heights through the use of suspended polycarbonate structures which descend from the skylignt roof. This installation system creates the sensation of a dream-like environment whereby the objects, seemingly free from gravitational limits, fluctuate in the semi-dark space, illuminated by a single halo of light produced by a dichroic lamp.
