Slow Life Resort - Design Competition

The research and consultancy was geared toward conducting a feasibility survey of preliminary project for the Slow Life Resort, a complex formed by a 6,000 sqm spa and equally sized four star hotel located in Campi Bisenzio, just outside of Florence. The project responded to the client’s ambitious, but sustainable idea to realize a simple, but functional building according to a predetermined investment budget and to the needs of a specific tourism target group. Within these parameters, the building and its real estate potentials were examined from an economic point of view, while also analyzing the building’s structural and architectural integrity. Further technical and economic consultation was given for the future development of the project and design, as well as the optimization of resources and time during the construction phase
